Auto-Hold lets you automatically place an active call on Hold when you press a line key to originate or receive another call.
Auto-hold is only available on some phones; see Feature Availability below for more information.
Auto-Hold will not operate when you are:
talking to the attendant
talking to a Non-Busy Station
talking to a party who has a call on Auto-Hold.
The "Auto Release on Key Select" COS option defeats Auto-hold by disconnecting the active call when another line ringing on the set is answered.
Enable Call Hold.
Supported on all devices.
To place a call on Hold and answer another line:
Press the flashing line key.
To place a call on Hold and originate a new call:
Press a line key.
